Creating A Different Kind of TOOL BOX - A "Coporate Moment" 3-hour Workshop
It’s been said that the only constant we have in our lives is CHANGE.
However, are you feeling forced into a change that you didn't ask for and didn't want? Do you sometimes wonder where to turn next? Are you feeling angry or frustrated,
fearful or anxious, or really down and tired?
In this three-hour workshop you will add a new toolbox to your life.
It will provide you with practical, easy to learn relaxation techniques and information about dealing with change - you will identify support resources crucial during this transition time. This blend of relaxation and information will assist you with mental clarity, restoring balance and hope, and addressing fatigue.
During the workshop, we will discuss what your stress triggers are.
Participants will learn about both the stress reaction and the relaxation response, and how to "turn on" the relaxation response - even though it may feel as if you are trying to turn the Titanic around single handedly!
Throughout the workshop, you will be filling up your new toolbox with these easy-to-use relaxation skills and become well armed with knowledge about change.
This is a hands-on workshop where participants will have an opportunity to rate each technique and information session and choose what is most suitable for their individual needs. Participants will leave this workshop feeling calm and relaxed and knowing which skills work best for them, and when and how to use these “new tools” during a challenging transition time.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a sweater or jacket for cool down. Bottled water will be available.
